Notable Changes From 2023
While the truck's last major redesign occurred in 2019, there are few changes from the prior year and even fewer notable upgrades. The brand's primary focus has been on the Ram 1500 Rev, an electric option of the iconic truck.
While minor upgrades are mostly unannounced, a few minor upgrades and changes are added each year, from available add-ons to new features becoming standard on lower trim levels. Last year, we saw this in the addition of an available 12-inch instrument cluster and a standard LED hitch light.

Technology and Connectivity
The cabin features a stunning display of technology, thanks to the Uconnect 5 system and the available 12-inch driver information digital cluster display. The system is equipped with several features, including full-screen navigation, full-colour 3D graphics, and vehicle stats.
The infotainment centre is a Uconnect 5 NAV, boasting a 12-inch touchscreen and plenty of quality-of-life features. The system allows for up to five driver profiles, access to connected services, and tow-specific navigation details.
Other technology includes the Ram app, an available option through Ram Connected Services. The application offers the ability to send destinations to navigation, use Vehicle Finder to locate your truck, and remotely start the engine or control door locks at a distance.
Exterior Features and Design
A multi-function tailgate offers easy access to the truck's bed, letting you store or retrieve cargo comfortably. The Class-Exclusive available Rambox Cargo Management System provides more storage convenience. All this fits perfectly with the truck's well-designed and bold body, distinguishing it from other vehicles.
Interior Aspects and Design
The truck's interior varies between trims, but higher tiers offer extra comfort thanks to the leather interiors, which feature wood accents. Plenty of legroom, rear-reclining seats, and the available technologies make the cabin comfortable and leisurely, even on a long drive.
The model also features a dual-panel sunroof, offering extra light for the interior, and can open for additional airflow.
Power and Performance
There are three engines available for the 2024 model. The 3.6-litre Pentastar V6 Engine produces 305 horsepower and 269 lb-ft of torque with 90 lb-ft of launch torque. The maximum towing for this engine on a 4x4 model is 7,460 lbs.
The 5.7-litre HEMI V8, available for most models, offers a stunning 395 horsepower while delivering 410 lb-ft of torque with 130 lb-ft of additional launch torque. This power translates into a total towing capacity of 11,410 lb on the 4x4 models.
Lastly, the TRX trim has its own powerful engine, the 6.2-litre Supercharged HEMI V8, delivering 702 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque. Though surprising, the engine's total towing capacity is below that of the 5.7-litre engine, having only 8,100 lbs of towing capacity.
