The 2023 Ram 2500 and 3500 Heavy Duty trucks come with several changes and additions this time around. We’ve got a new trim, Rebel, that has been added to the 2500 lineup only. It comes with either a gasoline or diesel engine, and comes standard in four-wheel drive.

There are two engines offered with the Ram 2500 and 3500 Heavy Duty models: gas and diesel. The gas engine’s powertrain holds a 6.4L HEMI V8, which outputs 410 hp and 429 lb-ft of torque. This engine is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission.

The diesel engine, a 6.7L Turbo diesel inline-six, outputs 370 hp and 850 lb-ft of torque. It’s paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. Rear Wheel Drive (RWD) is standard for all trims, and four-wheel drive (4WD) is optional.
