2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee L Models
There are six available models of the 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee L. The range starts with the Laredo, which has heated front seats and steering wheel, adaptive cruise control and blind-spot monitoring. Prices start at $53,990. The Altitude is the next step up, with a few upgrades on the Loreado, including 20-inch gloss black aluminium wheels and exterior accents. It has a power liftgate and remote start, costing upwards of $57,545.
The Limited sits in the middle of the range. Prices start at $61,940, which gets you the Jeep Select Terrain traction management system. The Overland is at the middle to the higher end of the range. It cost upwards of $70,445, with some noticeable enhancements on the Limited model, including a dual-pane panoramic sunroof.
At the top end of the range, you’ll find the Summit and Summit Reserve. They start at $75,545 and $81,040 respectively. The Summit gets you traffic sign recognition and a drowsy driver detection system. The Summit Reserve takes the interior and tech to the next level with Palermo leather seating and a front passenger interactive display.
New Specifications and Features
The six models are available in five colours; white and silver are included in the package, but the metallic grey, red, and black options are extras.
The off-road capabilities rely on the Quadra-Trac I, Quadra-Trac II and Quadra-Drive II systems that are equipped on the various models to improve traction. The unibody vehicle architecture is new, and the independent rear and front suspensions deliver the smoothest on-road driving experience.
Each model is fitted with a 3.6L Pentastar VVT V6, eight-speed automatic transmission, and engine stop/start technology.
Interior and In-car Technology
For 2023, featuring next-generation technologies was a focus. You’ll find the Uconnect 5 system with HDMI ports to connect external devices. It has wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Other tech features that you’ll enjoy include a digital rearview mirror, a rear seat monitoring camera and a 19-speaker McIntosh audio system in the Summit Reserve model.
The interior delivers an eight-way power driver’s seat as standard. They’ll be comfortable in the back with dual-zone temperature control, cupholders, floor pads, and USB charging ports on the second row. The soft-touch armrests and instrument panel really add to the luxurious feel.
