All-New 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee

At the beginning of 2021, the American automaker Jeep unveiled the new generation of its all new 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee. At that time, it was shown only with its unseen three-row version that Jeep calls L, keeping the current five-door model unchanged. Today, Jeep shows us in detail its all new 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee in a five-seat format. This event is highlighted by introducing its first electrified version, a Jeep Grand Cherokee 4XE plug-in hybrid.
General Characteristics
With this slightly more compact version than the one introduced in early 2021, Jeep made some subtle but important changes, even though they are both new generation vehicles. Aside from the shorter wheelbase, the five-seat variant will have a modified front end.
The New 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4XE
Blue front hooks right under the front grille distinguish this latest and most wanted hybrid version. The colour depends on whether it’s the combustion engine (red front hooks) or hybrid 4xe version (blue front hooks). Some edges of the different fog lights and a lower bumper section are also modified in black plastic. The same happens for the fenders, side skirts, vinyl on the hood and various badges for this edition. Of course, Jeep also offers its customers the possibility of selecting the more classic 3.6 L six-cylinder or the powerful 5.7 L V8.
Trims
In the more standard versions of the 2022 Jeep All New Grand Cherokee, you’ll find the Laredo, Altitude, Limited, Overland, Summit and Summit Reserve. If you are looking for a more adventurous trim, you can opt for the Trailhawk.
One of the details that distinguish this two-row version from the three-row version is the frame is chrome or dark-coloured. It starts from the A-pillar and runs along the roof to come down to the end of the side windows and not just behind the C-pillar. It's a subtle difference that helps distinguish them with other details like the wheels.
Interior
The interior of this all new 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee arrives more connected and technological than ever, highlighting two 10.1-inch screens for the instrumentation and infotainment system with Uconnect 5, which offers compatibility with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. An additional 10.25-inch screen for the front passenger can even be equipped with optional Fire TV to entertain the rest of the passengers.
On top of all that, the revamped 2022 Jeep All New Grand Cherokee also has a full arsenal of driver-assistance systems. This includes adaptive cruise control with Stop and Go, active-lane management, advanced brake assist, blind-spot monitoring, ParkView Backup camera and rear sensors, among other systems.
Pricing
The gas-powered 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo prices start at $52,045 and go up to $81,535. Grand Cherokee Summit Reserve prices start at $78,540. With all the trims available, it’s up to you to choose the best trim that fits your family’s needs.
