The Ram 1500 range sets a formidably high standard for all other half-ton trucks to aim for, and with the high-end Limited trim it raises the bar even higher. Huge Power Under the Hood
As standard, the 2022 Ram 1500 Limited is motivated by a huge 5.7L HEMI V8 gas engine making a capable 395 horsepower and 410lb-ft of torque. This option can also be fitted with a mild hybrid system that saves on fuel consumption without reducing power. But in either case, the output is passed though a smooth eight-speed transmission to all-wheel drive as standard.
But for even stronger capability in everyday tasks, the 3.0L turbodiesel engine drops the horsepower to 260 hp but gives the torque a hefty boost to 460lb-ft, delivering high power on demand even at low RPMs.
Payload and Towing Capacity
All these impressive engine specs translate into some excellent capability figures. The 2022 Ram 1500 Limited can carry up to 1,520kg of payload its pickup bed, and when equipped with the trailer tow package it can haul up to 5,873kg in towing capacity.
Upgraded Interior Luxury
The standard Limited model was already highly comfortable, but the new 10th Anniversary Edition adds yet another layer of luxury and style. The bucket seats now boast quilted leather upholstery, while suede trims and inserts throughout the cab complete the upscale feel. The pedals, steering wheel, and dash all feature aluminum bezels and trims, while a 10th Anniversary badge on the centre console leaves no doubt about this model's exclusivity.
And as with the regular Limited trim, the 10th Anniversary model ensures a comfortable drive with standard features including heated and ventilated seats both front and rear, air conditioning with dual-zone climate control, power adjustable pedals with memory, and much more.
Advanced Infotainment Technology
All models of the 2022 Ram 1500 are supplied with a generous amount of infotainment technology that's unusual in a truck, but the Limited trim takes things to a whole new level. A 12" touchscreen perches on the dash and provides access to smartphone integration through Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Satellite navigation is built in, while a Wi-Fi hotspot facility supplements the multiple USB ports spread throughout the cabin.
And if that wasn't enough technical wizardry, the Limited is also fitted with a customisable, fully digital 7" instrument gauge cluster nestled behind the wheel to relay essential driving information with clarity.
